Autodesk Webcast - Mar 17: Parametric Design and Energy Analysis using Project Vasari

March 17, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT

In this webcast, the presenters will discuss energy simulation workflows and why students need to be aware of the tools available. Attendees will learn more about Autodesk® Project Vasari, an easy-to-use, expressive design tool for creating building concepts. Project Vasari is focused on conceptual building design using both geometric and parametric modeling. It supports performance-based design via integrated energy modeling and analysis features. They will also discuss passive thermal analysis and other tools available to accomplish sustainable design goals.

Speaker Information: Matt Jezyk is Senior Product Manager, AEC Conceptual Design Products, at Autodesk. Matt has been in the Architecture and Engineering industry for 15 years and has spent the past 11 years developing Autodesk Revit. He was one of the original architects hired by Revit Technology Corporation and helped build what is now Revit Architecture and Revit Structure. He is experienced in building parametric and geometric modeling tools on the Revit platform. Recently, Matt has focused on emerging markets and technology. His groups have designed and developed new parametric modeling and integrated energy analysis features. Most recently, he has lead the team working Project Vasari, a new technology preview available on Autodesk LABS.
