Download Practice File: Starting Point
- Create a new floor plan view focusing on the residence.
- Duplicate the First Floor Plan View
- Name the duplicated Floor Plan View: “First Floor Residence”
- Crop this view to focus on the residence portion on the South end of the building.
- Create a new Floor Plan View for the Second Floor of the residence.
- Create a Ceiling Plan View for the First and Second Floor of the residence and office.
- Create a new Plan Region to show the wall opening at the edge of the second floor loft area (as seen in the image attached):
- Create a plan region within the second floor plan view.
- Set the View Range for this Plan Region so that the cut plane is at 6ft.
When you have completed this exercise, your model should look something like this:
