Journal Entry For
Project 2 - Testing Session 2

Testing notes

  • experiments
  • workshops programming

FEEDBACK SESSION 1:

Not much feedback — liked idea

FEEDBACK SESSION 2:

Make it more structured

Have specific paths for people to follow — interested in different ideas

People in agriculture focus more on that

People in energy focus more on that

Put less burden on the individuals to find things to do (need permanent staff? funding?)

Include more activities around education that would attract more people to come (make it cooler than a park)

Experiments to teach kids about methane/co2 emissions (balloons) with food waste

FEEDBACK SESSION 3:

Liked it — nothing specific

One of the feedback members had a community garden in his area but it’s not a very good one — people do not care very much about maintaining it

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT:

Funding

Size of garden

Staff? Permanent

Vertical gardens for more urban areas?
