Start by reviewing the initiatives described on the Sustainable Stanford website. Then, identify the domain that you’d like to explore and use as the focus for your Design Project 2.
The idea is that you’ll be working with a Stanford Group to understand their challenges and needs as they promote their sustainability initiatives. You’re task will be to work with them to design a project that will help to promote sustainable behaviors and practices for the clients that they serve.

The domain/area that I’d like to focus on is….
the sustainability of the apparel and merchandise that Stanford sells through its bookstore and other store in Tressider.
And the reason that this area is important and meaningful to me is….
I am excited about fashion and the ways in which it can be more sustainable. I think there is immense opportunity for the clothes we wear to become more climate positive, and it starts at a place like Stanford.

- Assemble a list of potential problems or needs related to the farm and how it interacts with students at Stanford and Stanford as an institution.
- Interview both students and members of the farm staff
- Brainstorm opportunities for problem-solving issues at the farm and/or innovative new functions for the farm
