Description
My model is a simple yet energy efficient model that will meet the needs of the Jasper Ridge Research team. The North-facing, L-shaped layout is designed to maximize the amount of natural light accessed from the South side of the building. Furthermore, the simple shed roof has a 2ft overhang to ensure that unwanted light is diverted in the summer, and necessary light is captured in the winter. All of the essential features are within the main open-concept space, and an up-to-code ADA bathroom and a sliding door closet are tucked away towards the West side of the building.
