Divergent Thinking: How Might We… alternatives to consider
We could:
- Create shower head attachment that tracks water usage in real time
- Mobile app that gamifies water usage through track and report
- Self reported water usage (ex. Log in shower length on bulletin board or qr code)
- Campus wide water usage app (tracks and published campus wide data)
- Educational sustainability workshops
- Subscription based service that sends students monthly reports on their water consumption
- Water competition or challenge
- Active incentives; Cardinal dollars/campus store discounts for students who report sustainable water use
Convergent Thinking: Three Most Promising strategies / design ideas
You'll present these 3 potential design ideas in class on Tuesday, February 27. And we'll discuss which of these potential ideas will be the best candidate to pursue by defining a MVP and protyping/testing the idea.
