The BIM Workshop has been created to help prepare architecture, engineering, and construction management students for professional practice. The site boasts an abundance of learning materials, videos, exercises, and much more, designed to teach Building Information Modeling (BIM) sustainable design practices along with integrated project delivery (IPD) concepts. Students and graduates can more fluidly design and communicate, test and plan using BIM models in an IPD framework. With a strong focus on sustainable and conceptual design concepts, the comprehensive teaching tools give students the extra edge they need to help them excel in their studies.
Faculty will also find this material an added value to their curriculum. The BIM Workshop contains instructor guides, presentations, tutorials, and assessment questions that can be easily incorporated into lesson plans. Included in the BIM Workshop are amazing case studies from Rocky Mountain Institute, inspirational curriculum videos from Northumbria University, and quick links to additional resources such as blogs, videos, and white papers that support the BIM concepts.
Be sure to also check out the related Sustainability Workshop and follow the video tutorials to help create a net-zero energy building.
