Connecting to the Shared File Server from Outside Y2E2
Some folks have reported that they cannot connect to the ceeserver from the residential computing network. If you're having trouble to connecting to the shared file server, try these things...
Verify that you're using these addresses:
- Windows Explorer: Address Bar: \\ceeserver\cee110files
- Mac Finder: Go To Server: smb://ceeserver
If you cannot connect, download and install the Stanford Virtual Private Network (VPN) client from this URL:
When you login to the Stanford VPN using your SUNet ID and password, your computer will behave as though you're connect to the network in Y2E2.
